Terminal questions
Can I use my own terminal?
No. StoreHub Pay is purpose-built for the AMS1 terminal because POS integration depends on the firmware and PCI configuration we ship. Standalone bank terminals don’t integrate with StoreHub POS.
What if my terminal breaks?
We replace it. Hardware warranty is included while you’re a StoreHub Pay merchant. Replacement is shipped — typically next business day across Malaysia.
Can I have multiple terminals?
Yes. One terminal per outlet is typical for F&B and retail. Multi-outlet pricing is available — speak to sales.
Does it work without internet?
The terminal needs internet (Wi-Fi or 4G) to authorize transactions. Most merchants have stable Wi-Fi. The terminal also has 4G as a fallback.
Does it accept cash?
The terminal is for cards. Cash is recorded separately on your StoreHub POS — but reconciliation between cash and card sales happens automatically in your StoreHub reports.
